LAOS VISA

Entry Requirements for tourist visa to Laos:

• Visa issued on arrival: (please be sure to check this information with your Airline before you travel to Laos)
  Visa can be obtained at Vientiane International Airport, Luang Prabang, Pakse and Warray airports for a stay of max. 30 days (one extension possible)

• Passport and Visa are required for business travel to Laos.

  1. 1. Valid, signed US passport with blank pages for visa and valid 6 months beyond trip. If your passport does not meet these requirements, see our passport services.
     
     
  2. 2. Two Laos Visa Application Forms completed and signed.
     
     
  3. 3. One Visa Connection Cover Sheet.
     
     
  4. 4. Four passport photographs.
     
     
  5. 5. Your host company in Laos must obtain an approval letter from the Immigration Department in Vientiane, to be sent to the Embassy of Laos in Washington. Processing is facilitated if a copy of the letter is submitted with the application.
     
     6. A business letter of introduction and financial responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to Laos Embassy. The letter should state the purpose of visit, Business reference in Laos to be visited, and company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant, and their return transportation to the USA.
