Uganda business visas are valid for:
Business Travel • Sales • Meetings • Conferences • Seminars

Please Note: Uganda has established an electronic visa, also called e-visa, to facilitate entry into its territory. The e-Visa is available for both tourism & business and is valid for 90 days single and entry only. It is good for 90 days from date of issue & is extendable while in Uganda for an additional 90 days.

Please Note: The Governments of Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda announced the joint “East Africa Tourist Visa”.
This new visa category was created to help promote travel to these three countries by issuing one visa to be valid for all three. If you are traveling to all three or any combination of these countries you must apply with the first country you are entering into for one visa to be valid for all three.
The East Africa visa will be valid for 90 days and good for multiple entries into any combination of the three countries, however the visa is only valid if you stay within the region (African Continent) if you leave the region the visa is no longer valid for a return to any of the three countries.

Your actual, signed passport which should be valid for 6 months beyond your intended stay in Uganda and with at least two blank visa pages available for Uganda visa stamps. Please note that the last few pages in your passport are amendment pages for U.S. State Department use only and as such cannot be used for a Uganda Business Visa stamp.

Photo Requirements:

Two recent (not older than 90 days) 2 x 2 passport photographs,
in color, front view with body completely facing forward and with a plain white background.
These should be taken at a reputable facility such as Walgreen’s, CVS, or Fed Ex Kinko’s.

Please note that photos sent in an invalid format (self taken and printed on home or office printer)
are often not accepted by the Embassy / Consulates of Uganda and may cause a delay in the application process.

Complete, print, and sign two copies of the Uganda Online Tourist Visa Application Form.

If you are unable for any reason to complete the online version of the Uganda Tourist Visa Application, UVC can complete it for you for an extra 25.00 fee. If you need this service, please complete the Uganda Offline Tourist Visa Application – PDF Version.

Important Note: The application should be typed and fully completed. Handwritten applications and those with blanks will be rejected by the Uganda Consulate.

Business Letter:

A business letter from the applicants U.S. based employer or sponsoring company.
The business letter should meet the following criteria:

• printed on company letterhead;
• signed by an appropriate company representative;
• applicants name & passport number;
• applicants employer status & position in the U.S. company;
• dates of planned entry into & exit from Kenya;
• specify desired visa type & validity;
• clearly state the purpose of the business trip to Kenya;
• specify who will provide financial support for applicants stay in Kenya;
• name, address, & phone number of the Kenyan companies to be visited.
