In July 2018, the Government of Uzbekistan launched their electronic online visa system. Citizens of over 70 countries including the United States can now apply for their tourism or business e-Visas to Uzbekistan from their smartphone, laptop or tablet without the normally required visa support from the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
The UVC online e-Visa application for Uzbekistan allows applicants to apply for their visa  eliminating the need to mail in physical documents or visit an Uzbekistan Embassy/Consulate. You just answer a few questions, pay a fee online, then receive your visa approval letter via email. Simply print your visa approval letter and present it with your passport when boarding your flight, to the Uzbekistan Immigration Officials upon entry and carry with you while traveling within Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan online visas are valid for 90 days from the date of issue. They can be Single Entry, Double Entry or Multiple Entry with a max stay of up to 30 days per entry.

The following are requirements for submitting an Uzbekistan e-Visa application:

  • A clear color scan or photo of your passport main page and adjoined signature page.
  • A clear color photo of the applicant from the chest up, face forward with a white background.
  • A credit/debit card for payment.
  • An email address for confirmation.
  • Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the date of your intended exit from Uzbekistan.
  • Your passport must have a least one completely blank visa page for entry and exit stamps.

Do I need to print out my e-Visa approval letter to present upon arrival in Uzbekistan?
Upon entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan, you will need to present your e-visa in printed form along with your valid passport. You must also carry a copy of your e-visa while traveling within Uzbekistan. A printed hard copy is required; electronic copies of the e-visa on your mobile phone are not sufficient.

What nationalities are eligible for the Uzbekistan e-Visa?

Can I enter Uzbekistan with my e-Visa visa at any point of entry?

E-visa holders may enter the Republic of Uzbekistan through any port of entry or border crossing point.

Do I need a visa to transit through Uzbekistan?

To be eligible for visa-free transit, you must depart from Uzbekistan via Uzbekistan Airways and present your airline ticket upon arrival at the airport. If your country of citizenship is not on the visa-free transit list, you will need to apply for a transit visa in advance from a Uzbekistan Embassy/Consulate location. The transit visa will be valid for 3 days/72 hours only.

What are the vaccination requirements to travel to Uzbekistan?

Yellow Fever vaccine is required only if traveling from a country with risk of yellow fever transmission.
Anyone traveling to Uzbekistan, however, should get the most up to date information by visiting the websites of the Center for Disease Contral (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). It is the responsibility of each passenger to check these regulations before traveling to their selected destination.

How can I get updated regarding my applications status?

You will receive a confirmation email right after you apply and pay the fee. Ensure to check your spam folder if you did not receive the confirmation. You can call 877-VISADOC (847-2362) if no confirmation is received.
Once your visa is approved, we will notify you via email with the visa approval letter attached. Upon arrival at your port of entry in Uzbekistan, you will be expected to present your passport with a printed copy of the e-Visa.
